Mappin

I felt like making a map for the Axolodyssey comic in Lord of the Rings / Odyssey style, aka old. Thought it would be fun to literally map out the areas of the entire stoyr id writen up, that way I could visualize the entire journey a bit more. Knowing the story takes place in real Mexico City, I had done ALOT of research on not just the landscape, but the culture and ancient aztec and mayan beliefs. Alot of their ancient beliefs inspired some really fun ideas and set pieces for the story, and helped create a playful landscape to work with. However, Mexico City today is basically 1% green psace and 99% buildings! so I had to get a little creative with merging ancient Mexico City, when it had large lakes and mountain ranges, with the modern day. All and all, ive never made a map before, so this was fun. Im making it physically now which is even more fun! Heres the little process!

Yes, the little dude on the bottom left is the aztec god of axolotls, and no you should not look up the rituals for the volcano at star hill.

Pooh For You

 By Aedan Peterson

It was me mums birthday a couple weeks ago, and I continued the tradition of making a Winnie-ther-Pooh based piece for her. Now I'm extending Happy Birthday to my mom to you!

May you have a Pooh-y fall!
